Her Vinyasa classes are blend of basic and advanced poses created into dynamic flow and allowing to cultivate body and breath awareness. Practice gradually builds up towards challenging poses with respect to individual needs. Each class focuses on different body area and connects with certain theme to grow not only physically. Relaxing sequences of Yin classes are enriched by information from modern and traditional teachings about mind and consciousness (neuroscience, Veda and Non-dual Tantra).

Through variety of meditation techniques you will start to explore capabilities of your mind and the impacts of meditation on your physiology and nervous system.

Her Teacher Trainings are focused on self-exploration of physical and mental capabilities. Enriched by teachings from Ayurveda, Consciousness based technologies and the other ancient well-being techniques you will start to experience great shift in your everyday life, which helps to maintain your practice also back home.

To this day, Illona is still learning the ever growing tools that Yoga brings. “It’s much more than a practice, but a way of living !”

What level practitioner is this for?
All levels are welcome!  Options are always given for all levels so everyone can practice where they are and have options to challenge themselves. We recommend at least 1yr yoga practice experience.

Do I have to be a yoga teacher to attend the retreat?
Nope!  This retreat is designed for both the practitioner who is excited and curious about History and Philosophy of Yoga, and for yoga teachers to better understand this and be able to share it with their students. In order to get 100hrs CEU you need to be a 200hrs certified yoga teacher.

How difficult will the asana be?
The morning asana practice will be an invitation to play at the edge of your comfort zone and every participant will have options to find their own edge.  As it is a resilience training retreat, you will be supported in finding this edge in a skillful way that deeply engages your mindset, mind, and your breath and you will practice creating relaxation and release after challenge.

with Floripa Yoga Academy

“"I have been to many different classes with different teachers and Monica is truly the real deal. She is warm, friendly, genuinely nice and passionate about yoga and about her students having a positive experience. The class was adapted really nicely to meet all the levels who were present (one person's first time through to a very experienced yogi) without judgment in a truly positive energetic way.I learnt some new poses or twists on poses and mainly I thoroughly enjoyed the vibe that Monica created in class, with her own authentic style. This, for me, is what yoga is about: a full body, mind and soul experience of balance, healing, connection, strength and energetic peace."!“
“She provides such a safe space to explore your core values, struggles, hopes, and dreams…all with unending patience, understanding, and sincerity. I don’t know how she does it, but somehow a-ha moments come easier to me when I'm with her. She really provides the best environment for you to connect to your inner wisdom and light, and that is a very special gift. I highly recommend studying with Monica, and I can’t wait to learn with her again!“
