Kitesurf is a water sport that uses the strength of wind. Our spot is quite easy, a long and free beach with flat water; in addition, the wind is normally side on shore, so perfect to learn! Everybody can try it, as you don’t need previous specific preparation. If you just want to give it a try, we recommend to do two hours and see how it goes (price is 60,00 euros per hour). If you are committed to learn it, you can attend a beginner course (from 6 to 9 hours) at our school, or just rent the equipment if you are already able to ride the wind!

Note: a minimum stay of 3 nights is required for all the reservations. Only in August the minimum stay is 7 nights for the private rooms and 4 nights for the spots in shared rooms.
During the booking process, on the third page, the system will already add a mandatory yoga package for one person (2 daily yoga classes). If you would like to add one more package you just need to select the box “Yoga package for second guest”. On this page, you can also book one of our packages which includes different services.
Anyway, you can also book all your extras directly on site.
The system does not withdraw any money upon reserving! It will only store your credit card information securely. You can pay the full amount once you come over upon check-in.
From the airport in Catania you can :

– take a bus to Pozzallo
You will find the bus stop just outside of the Arrivals gate on the right, the name of the Company is AST (Azienda Siciliana Trasporti), you can only buy the ticket on the bus by paying the driver 10,00 euros per person. We can arrange pick-up for you at the bus station for an extra of only 10,00 euros.
Both options take around 80 minutes.

Once you have actually boarded the bus please sms or whatsApp us at these 2 numbers, +39-334.2700456 and +39-3920806895 so we can organise your pick you up at the bus station in Pozzallo (shuttle costs 10,00 euros).

Please note: message us when you BOARD the bus, not when you arrive in Pozzallo, to give us time to organise your shuttle (otherwise you might have to wait for us at the bus station).

Yes you can pay for the package with your cards (except American Express), however all cards payments are subjected to a 3% fee. All water sports, massages and transfers need to be paid by cash. Also we recommend to bring some cash for expenses outside of the B&B, as in Sicily most places only accept cash.
The average age of our guests depends on the time of the year, but in general it ranges around 30-45 years old, though we often have younger and older people coming over. We are impressed by how easy it is for our guests to find common grounds for conversations and spending the time together, everybody is very easygoing.
Yes! It will be extremely easy! Most of our guests come around on their own, and even our staff members (and dogs) are super friendly, so you will not feel lonely!
At Floripa it is possible to have all the meals, if they are not included in your package, then you can “pay as you go” (price ranges from 6 to 22 euros). There are also some restaurants around 1 km away, which can be reached by bike (we provide free bicycles). Finally, there is one common kitchen that can be used to cook your own meals. The closest supermarket is located 3 km away (5 minutes by bike), and bigger supermarkets are located in Pozzallo (7 km away).
Our meals are mostly vegetarian, however at breakfast you will find ham and eggs. We serve meat usually once a week on Saturday during a barbecue. However, there are always vegetarian options also on barbecue nights. We serve Fish on special dinner nights organized by our Chef Francesco.
Our breakfasts and dinners are buffet style, so you will find dishes that you can eat most of the time. When you sign up for meals just write a remark with your eating style and the cook will make sure to have something for you. It is not possible to order a la carte.
Not at all! Some of our guests just enjoy the yoga classes and relaxing at the beach, or visiting some of the stunning UNESCO sights nearby.
No, you can leave your mats at home! In our Shalas we provide all you need to attend the yoga class! Blocks, yoga mats, pillows and so on.
In the morning we generally teach a dynamic style of flow yoga- it can be Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Prana flow; all levels are welcomed since the teachers give variations according to everybody’s capacities. At the afternoon session we usually teach yin-yoga or a gentle flow, these classes are slower and deep, and are usually followed by a meditation session. Sometimes we do the afternoon classes at the beach or in the little forest close to the B&B. If you are pregnant, or you have a special condition, you will be able for sure to follow the afternoon classes, while you might need to slow down and pause during the morning classes.
Floripa is located in Santa Maria del Focallo, a tiny beach village close to Pozzallo, which is a bigger centre easily reachable by bike. Pozzallo is a small village where you can try a real sicilian Cannollo while you go for a walk enjoy the seaview. In addition, from us you can also rent a motorbike or a car and have a nice trip of the city here around, like Ragusa, Noto, Marzamemi, Scicli and Modica.
