Eva Drabkova

Eva (E-RYT 500, YACEP) focuses on providing successful and comprehensive Yoga Teacher Trainings teacher within Floripa Yoga Academy.

Her passion for physical movement has begun since childhood, doing karate, dance and yoga. Traveling to India revealed her that Yoga goes way beyond physical and it actually has become a way of life.

Her Vinyasa classes are blend of basic and advanced poses created into dynamic flow and allowing to cultivate body and breath awareness. Practice gradually builds up towards challenging poses with respect to individual needs. Each class focuses on different body area and connects with certain theme to grow not only physically. Relaxing sequences of Yin classes are enriched by information from modern and traditional teachings about mind and consciousness (neuroscience, Veda and Non-dual Tantra).

Through variety of meditation techniques you will start to explore capabilities of your mind and the impacts of meditation on your physiology and nervous system.

Her Teacher Trainings are focused on self-exploration of physical and mental capabilities. Enriched by teachings from Ayurveda, Consciousness based technologies and the other ancient well-being techniques you will start to experience great shift in your everyday life, which helps to maintain your practice also back home.

Eva continues to study online, mostly psychology, coaching and Consciousness based programs from Maharshi International university, for whom she also works remotely. She loves traveling, inspiring conversations and kiteboarding.

Illona Tschopp

Illona is a free spirit with a passion for the natural flow of life. Currently managing Floripa.
Her vocation is to spread love, joy and happiness, with the people through her classes, workshops, retreat or coaching. Her goal is to embody unconditional love and radiate this energy towards all individuals.

She is a certified teacher since October 2016 and has done additional trainings since then (pre & post natal, Anatomy, Sup Yoga, Nervous System) and has qualifications in positive psychology, integrative nutrition and currently undergoing a bachelor in Traditional Chinese Medicine aiming to offer a fuller spectrum of tools.

She has been drawn to yoga from a young age, using this tool to self explore and to better understand her need, her purpose and how to live balanced between the inside out and the outside in.

To this day Illo is still learning the ever growing tools that yoga brings.  “It’s much more than a practice, but a way of living !”

Monica Munguia

Monica (ERYT200, RYT500, YACEP) has a background that includes exercise physiology, marine biology, zoology, molecular biology, education, and wilderness therapy field guiding to name a few things.  Of her many paths, yoga is the thing that has “stuck” as it brings her more peace, contentment, and joy everyday and continues to help her expand what’s possible and step into her potential, and this is what she wishes to share!

She loves to bridge the gap between her Western & Eastern trainings and blend the physiological, psychological, and spiritual to empower people to use the tools of yoga for more than fitness, but to enhance their lives and realize their unique potential.

She loves the speed of slow honey, learning to surf, a simple life lived mostly outdoors, life/self experiments, and learning daily as a constant student and explorer of life.

Adriana is our Italian senior yoga teacher. She lives the cold months in Milan, where she teaches in her yoga school, and the warm months near her Floripa’s friends, where she offers Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Yin Yoga classes.

A lover of nature, animals, land and sea sports, beauty understood as inner and outer harmony, Adriana began teaching fitness in the 80s and has never left the classes since then.

The philosophy of yoga is for her the greatest challenge, but also the most rewarding. It is the missing link that enriches her healthy lifestyle with the wisdom of the ancient masters.

Passionate about anatomy, her approach to yoga is physical, but only in appearance. The physical is intended as a tool to open up to listening, acceptance and respect for oneself and for others.

She has more than 1000 hours of training (RYT 500 certified) but she keeps on studying because she says “Yoga is not like going to school, you don’t learn by taking a diploma, but it is a journey that has a beginning, but never an end. “

Nikol Pfeiferova

Nikol has more than 12 years of personal practice and 10 years of teaching. Her learning is based on gained experience when traveling to Asia.  She was mostly influenced by Petri Raisanen, from whim she learned the basics of energy healing alignment while helping into positions.  Laruga Glasser, Dany Sá and all her students has inspired Nikol on her journey.

She says: “Everyone is different, but our existence is breath taking, it connects us to ourselves.  Through it, we find inner space which influences the way to engage the center of the body and helps us to understand the basic principles of physical being and self healing. Tristana, the connection of movement, gaze and breath, contributes to conscious being on all possible levels. Being here and now is the basis for understanding and grasping life.”

In her lessons she focuses on energetic healing adjustments. You will encounter a physiotherapeutic individual approach, which focuses primarily on the elimination of disbalances.

Filippo Granata

Hyperactive and enthusiastic child in his youth, Filippo was channelling his energy into different areas of movement, first with skateboarding and snowboarding, he met capoeira at the age of 17, falling in love with rhythm, freedom of expression and acrobatic physicality.

In 2012, his travels around the world led him to Zero Gravity in Milan, where he took part in the opening and launch of freestyle acrobatics activities, teaching children and adults. Nourished by his curiosity to learn about ‘the body in motion’, he graduated in Physical Education with top marks in 2016. He continued his path by specialising with a Master’s degree in Fitness and Personal training, with training in Yoga and Acroyoga Anukalana approach.

Filippo has taught cartwheels to more than five thousand people of different ages and levels, building a personal pedagogical-educational approach that draws on her own motor path and personal awareness.

Makenzie Dale

It has been nearly a decade since I began teaching yoga. Studying, practicing and teaching has been a pillar of well-being for me – it connects me to the true essence of my being.

Throughout my journey I have cultivated a sincere and genuine passion for the yoga philosophy. Sharing this ancient, sacred knowledge has brought me a profound and unshakable sense of peace and joy, and helped heal me in many ways.

It is through yoga that I have developed unwavering compassion, conscious awareness and loving kindness for myself and the world around me. I am deeply grateful and honoured to teach to a place that feels like home and share my passion with the lovely, open minded folks at Floripa.”

Dany Haberkorn

Dany Haberkorn is a yoga teacher based in Nürnberg, Germany. She is passionate about supporting people to find personal acceptance and freedom and to explore the connection with their true authentic self. In combination with her 20 year experience as a social worker she started to add yoga in nearly every part of her work and private life. Ania Drzewiecka

Ania Drzewiecka „pranomaja” (RYT700).

Capricorn – this is probably the best description of her nature. Old, serious, disciplined soul and cheerful girl at the same time.

She was and still is, looking for answers about the relationship between soma (body) and psyche. She believes that the results of those answers and getting closer to the connection of those two, depends on a personal commitment to the practice.

Her hunger for knowledge and inclination to constantly explore her limits, uprooted her from her office job and took her to Bali, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Spain, where she taught and learned at the same time.

She is a certified yoga teacher with over 900 registered hours RYT (including kundalini, hatha, vinyasa, nidra, meditation, mindfulness, pranayama, philosophy, mantra, yoga for pregnant women) and teaches how to practice yoga through, but not limited to, asanas.

She likes to say – what is on the mat, is also in life, because the true wisdom of the practice, shows itself right there.
